Website + funnels + automations. One system, one person to call.

These terms describe how I work with clients and how this website may be used. A signed proposal for a specific project adds the details, and where the two disagree, the proposal wins.
“Matchless Web” and “Matchless” are the shorter names used by Matchless Web Studio, LLC, a limited liability company in Clinton, Mississippi. “I” and “me” mean that company, which is owned and run by Jon Phillips. “You” means the business engaging me, or the person using this website. By hiring me or using this site you agree to these terms.
The Matchless Web Speed to Lead text demo is operated by Matchless Web Studio, LLC. It is a simulation for people exploring the service: a sample acknowledgment of an HVAC request, a sample follow-up with a link to book a real 15-minute call with me, one reminder if you don’t book, and a booking confirmation. Booking the call stops the reminder. The demo does not book a real service appointment or send a contractor to your property.
The page tells you whether live text delivery is available. When it is unavailable, the sample stays on the page without sending or saving your demo entries. When available, you can request the live demo by providing a US mobile number you control and checking the separate, optional SMS consent box. A second, separate box, unchecked unless you tick it, adds follow-up texts from me about Speed to Lead for your business; the demo works without it. Consent is not a condition of purchasing services or using the on-page demo. Neither box covers messages from client businesses, and the first box covers the demo only.
You may receive up to 4 automated demo messages per request, plus up to 2 follow-up texts per request if you ticked the second box. There is no charge from Matchless Web for the demo. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. User-requested HELP and subscription-management replies are separate from these messages.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. STOP ends the demo texts and the follow-up texts alike. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or email jon@matchlessweb.com. Submitting the form again does not cancel a previous request to stop messages.
Message delivery depends on your carrier and device; delivery and timing are not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Any paid service guarantee does not apply to this free demo. See the Privacy Policy for how mobile information and consent records are handled.
The email demo is the same simulation by email, operated by Matchless Web Studio, LLC, and offered only when the page shows its checkboxes. Ticking its separate, optional box and giving an email address you can read requests up to 4 automated demo emails per request: an acknowledgment, up to two reminders if you don’t book, and a booking confirmation. A second, separate box, unchecked unless you tick it, adds up to 3 follow-up emails from me about Speed to Lead for your business; the demo works without it. Consent is not a condition of purchasing services or using the on-page demo, and neither box covers emails from client businesses.
Booking the call, or replying to a demo text, stops the reminders and follow-ups. Every email has an unsubscribe link, which ends the demo emails and the follow-up emails; it does not end the texts, and STOP does not end the emails. Each email address can request the demo once a day. There is no charge for the demo, and delivery and timing are not guaranteed. See the Privacy Policy for how your email address and consent records are handled.
I design, build, host and maintain websites and the systems around them: Client Acquisition Systems, Sales Funnels, Business Automations, the Website Care Plan, Paid Ads Management, SEO for Small Businesses, and Speed to Lead. SEO runs for a minimum of six months, or three on a site I already host, and then month to month. The exact scope of any project is set out in a written proposal that you approve before work begins. Anything not in the proposal is out of scope until it is added in writing.
Project work is fixed price and scoped on the discovery call. Most projects start around $15K; depending on your needs and the project's complexity and scope, the price can be two to three times that, or more. I don't bill project work by the hour; you pay for the deployed system. Ongoing hosting and maintenance are covered by a monthly plan. Small changes outside a plan that take under 30 minutes bill at a discounted hourly rate stated in your proposal; larger changes are scoped and quoted first.
Add-ons: Running email funnels and managing paid ads are add-ons, billed monthly on top of a Website Care Plan. Each is priced per unit: the first at the full monthly rate, a second running at the same time at a lower rate, and a third and each one after at a lower rate again. Units are counted each month by how many are running. Paid ads add a percentage of that month’s total ad spend to the fee. The current rates are published on the Sales Funnels and Paid Ads Management pages, and the rates in your proposal are the ones that apply to you. Each funnel and each ad campaign has a three-month minimum; the care plan itself has none. Speed to Lead is a standalone service with its own terms below and does not require a care plan.
What one unit covers: A funnel is one offer, its landing page and the versions tested against it, and one email sequence: five to seven emails for a nurture funnel, or up to ten for a sales funnel. Building a funnel is a fixed-price project, and a longer sequence is quoted with the build. The published funnel rates are for a simple funnel, built in my CRM with up to two other tools; a funnel that connects to more tools, or is built in another CRM, is scoped and priced in its proposal. An ad campaign is one offer on one platform, with up to three ad sets of up to three copy-and-image variations each. A different offer, or the same offer on another platform, is a separate campaign.
Ad spend: You pay ad spend directly to Google, Meta or whichever platform runs the ads, in ad accounts you own. It is never part of my fee, and each platform’s own terms and billing apply to it.
Outside work, at cost: I don’t film video. When a project needs work I don’t do myself, such as filming or motion graphics, I engage a creative partner as described under Contractors. You approve the cost before the work starts, and I bill it to you at exactly what the partner charges, with their invoice attached. I don’t mark up anyone else’s work. Writing scripts and shot lists and editing footage, whether you recorded it or a partner filmed it, is my own work, billed separately and quoted before I start. Speed to Lead has the fixed video add-on described on its solution page.
I offer two payment structures for projects, designed to eliminate administrative friction and keep project timelines tight.
Paid in Full: 100% of the project price is paid before work begins, which reduces the project price.
50/50 Split: A 50% deposit is required to commence work. The remaining 50% is due 30 days after the first payment for a project scoped at up to six weeks, and 45 days after the first payment for a project scoped at more than six and up to eight weeks. A 60-day term applies only if we agree to it in writing before work begins. On its due date the remaining 50% is drafted automatically, from your bank account by ACH or from a card on file, under the prior authorization you sign at kickoff.
Projects longer than eight weeks: If a project is scoped with an estimated timeline of more than eight weeks, the remaining 50% is paid in milestone payments instead of a single second payment. The amount and due date of each milestone payment are set out in your proposal and agreed before work begins. Milestone payments are drafted the same way, under the prior authorization you sign at kickoff.
Care plans and add-ons: Billed in advance on the same day each billing cycle, whether monthly, quarterly or annually, by ACH draft under a prior authorization you sign. Paid ads management is billed monthly, because its fee follows that month's ad spend.
SEO: If you pay an SEO engagement’s minimum term in full at the start, the fees for that term are reduced. If you pay that term up front by ACH, they are reduced further. Otherwise, payment is due in advance on the same day each month, by ACH draft under a prior authorization you sign.
How you pay: My preferred method is an ACH bank draft under a prior authorization you sign. A project payment made by ACH is reduced, in addition to the Paid in Full discount. Fees billed each month or billing cycle are the same by ACH or card, unless your proposal or agreement states a reduced amount. The reduced amount for each way of paying is stated in your proposal or agreement, and that stated amount is what applies. I also accept cards, at the listed price, less the Paid in Full discount when it applies. Listed prices are the standard prices, and no surcharge is added for paying by card.
No work begins until the initial payment or authorization is established.
Most systems ship in three to six weeks from kickoff, with a first milestone live inside 14 days. That schedule assumes you take part in the one-hour strategy session, review the staging links and walkthrough recordings when they are sent (live review calls are optional), and supply the content, credentials and approvals I ask for within a few business days. When those slip, the timeline moves with them.
Respond is month to month after setup. Fill has a three-month minimum per campaign, then runs month to month. No Website Care Plan or site rebuild is required: I host the booking page on a subdomain of your site as part of Respond. Phone and text costs are included up to 1,000 texts and 1,000 call minutes a month; use above those limits is billed at cost.
Within 2 minutes: The system’s timestamped log measures from a form submission or the end of a missed call to the first reply being handed to the text or email provider. The guarantee covers that handoff, not delivery by the carrier. If the log shows a reply handed off later than 2 minutes in a month, that month’s Respond fee is credited.
Go-live: If the system is not live within 10 business days after carrier approval and receipt of your completed onboarding answers, the first month is free.
Exclusions: The reply guarantee excludes leads that arrive outside the system, such as Facebook messages or Angi; outages of the whole provider shown on its status page; and a phone with no texting, where the reply goes by email instead.
Capacity: I accept up to 4 new Speed to Lead clients a month.
You own 100% of the intellectual property, code repositories, design files and operational assets created for your project, effective when the final payment for that project clears. Until then I hold them. While I host and maintain the site under a plan, I manage the hosting accounts and the codebase on your behalf for security, performance and uptime, and you can ask for access at any time.
Anything I bring to a project that I already owned, such as internal tooling, templates and code libraries, stays mine, and you receive a permanent license to keep using it inside the work I delivered.
If you decide it's in your best interest to part ways, there are no hostage situations. I execute a seamless transfer of all assets and codebase control back to you, including hosting, domains, and every account created for the project, so you can manage things internally or with another vendor. This is written into every contract, and it applies whether the parting is your idea or mine.
Matchless Web is a one-person studio. When a project needs a specialist, I may engage a contractor for that piece of the work. Contractors work under my direction, are bound by the same confidentiality I hold myself to, and see only what their piece requires. You always work directly with me, and I remain responsible for the whole of the delivery. When a contractor’s work is billed to you, it is billed at cost, as set out under Pricing.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you supply, for having the right to use any text, images, logos or data you give me, for keeping your own credentials safe, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including what your own website tells your customers about privacy. I will tell you when I think something you have asked for is a bad idea, but the decision, and its consequences, stay with you.
I promise to deliver the work in the proposal with professional care and skill, and to fix, at no charge, any defect in my own work that you report while I am maintaining the site. I don't promise a particular number of leads, a particular search ranking, or a particular revenue result: those depend on your market, your offer and your follow-through as much as on the system. Third-party services I connect you to, such as hosting, email, booking and payment platforms, are provided under their own terms, and I don't control their uptime or their pricing.
To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything arising out of a project or this website is capped at the fees you paid me in the twelve months before the claim. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or lost business, however they arise. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Either you or I can end a project with written notice. You pay for the work completed up to that point, at the proportion of the fixed price it represents, and the break-up plan above applies to everything delivered. Monthly plans end at the close of the current billing month once notice is given, after any minimum term stated in your proposal has run.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi. Any dispute that can't be resolved by talking it through will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Hinds County, Mississippi.
When these terms change, the new version is published here and the date at the top moves. A project already under way stays on the terms in force when its proposal was approved.
Questions about these terms go to jon@matchlessweb.com. Matchless Web Studio, LLC is based in Clinton, Mississippi, and is registered with the Mississippi Secretary of State under Business ID 1167640.
