This policy covers matchlessweb.com and Matchless Web previews hosted under matchless-changelog.pages.dev. It explains what I collect when you use this site, why, who else touches it, and what you can ask me to do with it. It is written in plain English on purpose.
This policy applies to matchlessweb.com and Matchless Web previews hosted under matchless-changelog.pages.dev, the website of Matchless Web Studio, LLC, a limited liability company in Clinton, Mississippi, owned and run by Jon Phillips. On this site the company also goes by the shorter names Matchless Web and Matchless. It does not apply to the websites I build for clients. Each of those is owned by the client and governed by that client's own privacy policy.
Information you give me on purpose. The contact form asks for your name, email address, company, website, what you're looking for and a message. The revenue-audit form asks for your name, email address, website address and the bottleneck you're seeing. Both are submitted to SureContact, the form and email service I use, and land in my inbox and my contact list.
Guides and one-pagers. When you ask for a free guide, or for the one-page version of a blog post, the form asks for your first name and email address. I email it to you, and I may send follow-up emails about the same topic. For a blog one-pager that is one more email two days later with the same link. If you tick the box to hear about new posts, I email you when one comes out; if you leave it unticked, I don't. Every one of these emails carries an unsubscribe link.
Information you give me when you write or book. If you email jon@matchlessweb.com, I keep the email. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email address and the time you chose, and shows me the booking.
Speed to Lead response tests. When you request a test, I collect your name, email, business name, website and optional business phone, the test permission you give, and any calculator inputs and results you choose to submit with the request. I also keep the permission wording, version and time, referral details, and your separate choice about up to three email follow-ups. Cloudflare verifies the request and SureContact stores it in the Matchless Web workspace. The calculator alone sends and saves none of your entries. Test permission does not subscribe you to SMS or general marketing.
The optional Speed to Lead text and email demos are described below. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no payments taken on this site.
The text demo is an optional demonstration from Matchless Web Studio, LLC. It plays the part of a business answering a sample HVAC request: an acknowledgment, a follow-up with a link to book a real 15-minute call with me, one reminder if you don’t book, and a booking confirmation. It does not book a service appointment or dispatch a contractor. You can use the on-page sample without agreeing to text messages.
When the page labels text delivery as unavailable, the sample runs in your browser and does not send or save your demo entries. When the live text demo is available, choosing the separate SMS checkbox and submitting the form provides your mobile number and permission to send up to 4 automated SMS messages per request. A second, separate checkbox, unchecked unless you tick it, adds up to 2 marketing texts per demo request from me about Speed to Lead for your business; the demo works without it. Message and data rates may apply. Replies you request for help or to manage your subscription are separate from these messages.
For the live text demo, I keep the mobile number, request identifier, your choice on each checkbox, the wording and version shown, the time and page where you opted in, and messaging delivery, reply and opt-out records. These records support the requested demo, troubleshooting, consent verification and your messaging choices. Cloudflare processes the form and security checks and stores the demo consent and messaging records. Twilio and carriers process message delivery and replies. A response-test request is a separate form stored in the Matchless Web SureContact workspace.
Each demo request gets its own booking link on this site, with a random code that does not contain your phone number. The link opens a Calendly booking page, and the code travels with your booking so I can match it to your demo request and stop the remaining reminder texts once you book. OttoKit, an automation service, creates a one-time Calendly link for each code and tells this site when a demo call is booked or canceled; it handles the code and the Calendly booking, never the mobile number or email address you gave for the demo. The Calendly page runs Meta’s pixel, as described under Analytics.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information and SMS consent are also not shared with affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Limited sharing with service providers is only for operating the requested messaging service. Mobile numbers, SMS content and SMS consent records are not sent to Meta or other advertising platforms. Permission for this demo does not transfer to client businesses.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help when text delivery is active. You can also email jon@matchlessweb.com. I keep messaging records only while needed to operate the service, document consent, honor opt-outs or meet applicable requirements. You may request access, correction or deletion; limited consent and suppression records may be retained to honor your choices and meet those requirements. See the SMS Terms.
The email demo is the same optional demonstration by email, from Matchless Web Studio, LLC, offered only when the page shows its checkboxes. Ticking its separate checkbox and submitting the form provides your email address and permission to send up to 4 emails per request: an acknowledgment, up to two reminders if you don’t book, and a booking confirmation. A second, separate checkbox, unchecked unless you tick it, adds up to 3 emails from me about Speed to Lead for your business; the demo works without it. You can ask for the emails, the texts or both.
For the email demo, I keep the email address, request identifier, your choice on each checkbox, the wording and version shown, the time and page where you opted in, your browser’s time zone (so the emails can show times in yours), and a record of each email sent. Cloudflare processes the form and stores those records. SureContact, the email service I use, sends the emails from the Matchless Web workspace: it finds or creates a contact for your address there, with a note recording your permission, and keeps its own delivery and unsubscribe records. The emails use the same booking link as the text demo, described above.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link, which ends the demo emails and the follow-up emails. It does not stop the texts, and replying STOP to the texts does not stop the emails; booking the call, or replying to a demo text, stops the reminders and follow-ups on both. Your email address is not sent to Meta or other advertising platforms, and permission for this demo does not transfer to client businesses. I keep these records while needed to run the demo, document consent and honor unsubscribes. See the Email Demo Terms.
This site uses Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused service that counts visits without cookies and without building a profile of you across other websites. It records the page you viewed, roughly where in the world you were, the device type and where you came from, and none of it is tied to you as a person.
There is no advertising pixel on this site: no Meta, Google or other ad script runs in your browser. What Meta is told comes from this site’s own server, only in the two cases below. If that ever changes, this section will change first, and the date at the top of this page will move.
The booking page I link to for calls is different. It is hosted by Calendly at calendly.com, not on this site, and it runs Meta’s pixel for my account. When you open it, pick a day and time, or book, Meta is told that this happened, so I can see which ads lead to booked calls. Calendly’s own privacy and cookie policies cover that page.
When you request a free teardown, this site's server tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that a request came in. It sends a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, your IP address, your browser type and, if you came from a Meta ad, that ad's click ID, so I can measure which ads lead to requests. The server also records which link or campaign brought you (the UTM tags in the link) and adds those tags to your contact record in SureContact. It keeps a record of the request with a scrambled copy of your email address in place of the address itself, so I can count the requests each campaign brings in. No cookie is set for any of this.
If you arrive from a Meta ad, the same server also tells Meta about each page you view on this site during that visit: the page, your IP address, your browser type and the ad's click ID. That lets me measure the ads and show ads to people who visited but did not get in touch. If you did not come from a Meta ad, Meta is told nothing about your visit.
SureContact, for response-test and other contact forms, the emails I send you afterwards, and the Speed to Lead demo emails. Cloudflare, for live text- and email-demo consent and messaging records and the protected response-test request and email queue. Twilio and carriers, for text delivery and replies when the text demo is enabled. OttoKit, which creates the text demo’s one-time booking links and tells this site about its Calendly bookings. Meta, which receives the teardown-request signal, the page views of visitors who came from a Meta ad, and the Calendly booking-page events described under Analytics, to measure my ads. Calendly, for booking calls. Cloudflare, which hosts this site and the server that does the campaign measurement described under Analytics, and keeps standard edge logs (your IP address, the page requested, the time) for security and performance. The fonts on this site are served from this site, so no font provider sees your visit.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy, and each of them processes your information only to provide its service to me. I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
This site sets no tracking cookies. It remembers one thing in your browser's local storage: whether you chose the light or the dark theme. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings and nothing breaks. For the length of your visit it also keeps the tags of the link that brought you, and the ad's click ID if you came from an ad, in session storage, which your browser clears when you close the tab.
Part of what I build for clients is pixel tracking and retargeting. Those pixels live on the client's website, are set up in the client's own advertising accounts, and the client is responsible for the data they collect. This policy does not cover them, and neither do I, beyond installing what the client has agreed to.
Except for the limited messaging records described under Speed to Lead text demo, form submissions and emails stay in my contact list and inbox until you ask me to remove them or until they are clearly no longer useful, whichever comes first. The campaign records described under Analytics are kept until you ask me to delete them. I am the only person who reads them. If a project needs a specialist contractor, that person sees only what the project requires, only for as long as it requires it, and under the same confidentiality I hold myself to.
Email jon@matchlessweb.com and I will send you a copy of what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to the limited messaging-record retention described above. Every email I send from a sequence carries an unsubscribe link. There is no form to fill in and no waiting period beyond the time it takes me to reply, which is usually under one business day.
This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if I learn that I have, I delete it.
When this policy changes, the new version is published here and the date at the top moves. A material change to what is collected will be called out in plain language at the top of the page for a while afterwards.
