02 The Client's Problem Where it started

Neighborhood Bitcoin came to me with a logo, a color palette, and a mountain of original research — but no website. Two national surveys and eight in-person focus groups had told them exactly what stops ordinary people from trying Bitcoin: the five concerns that matter, the nine messages that answer them, and who people actually trust to deliver the news. All of it was sitting in a PDF where almost nobody would ever read it.

03 The Solution What shipped

I designed and built the whole site from that brand kit — a logo and a palette, no wireframes, no mockups, no page comps. Next.js, hosted on Cloudflare.

The research became things people can use. Four seven-card stories answer the concerns the focus groups surfaced, in plain language, swipeable on a phone. A newsroom publishes the surveys themselves alongside the fireside chat with the Bitcoin Policy Institute and Cygnal. And a media toolkit hands anyone 38 shareable graphics and three written guides — one at a time, by message set, or as a single 2.9 MB zip.

The whole point was to get the findings out of the report and into the hands of people who would pass them along. Neighbor to neighbor, which is the only way this ever spreads.
